The official NAPLAN testing for all year 3 & 5 students will be held this week - the schedule is displayed below. We ask that families ensure their children are at school during this testing window.
Families of Year 5 students are asked to ensure their Year 5 child’s BYOx Laptop:
- Is fully charged each day of testing and packed in their school bags.
- NO free Antivirus software is installed onto the students BYOx device, as this has caused issues with students accessing the lock down browser during testing.
- Has completed its updates whilst at home on your home Wi-Fi connection.
Additionally:
Students will not be permitted to access their BYOx devices before school in the morning as preserving battery power is critical to competing the tests.
We ask parents of students in Year 3 and Year 5 to actively support these students to do their best by making sure students are in bed nice and early each night, and that they head off to school each morning with an “A” grade breakfast in their tummies. The most important message we can all give them is to just try their best and this will be great!
