At Talara Primary College, we use the Qkr! App which enables parents to pay for many items including school excursions, school fees, Tuckshop Orders, Uniform Orders and much more.
Invoices and Statements are also emailed to whoever is listed as our first point of contact, from our Finance Officer. Invoices outline other ways you can pay, if you are not set up with the Qkr! App. This might include BPoint or alternatively we do accept cash and have eftpos facilities in the office.
If at any stage you are concerned about how you will be able to make payments for excursions or any other school fees, please contact our office, as we are able to discuss the possibility of a payment plan.
Statements can seem confusing at the best of times. One of the main questions we get asked is "why do I still owe money, I thought I was up-to-date? But I have a negative amount on my account". The great news is, if you have a negative amount (ie -$10) on your account, this actually means you are in credit! You therefore do not owe anything.
Statements are not sent to families who have a zero balance. Statements are only sent out if you are in credit (- negative amount), or if you do owe funds.
