Secondary schooling is a big move for students – and their parents.
Making new friends, understanding timetables and having different teachers are all part of the learning curve.
As part of the
Caloundra Coalition of State Schools, Talara students and staff undertake a variety of activities to ensure a smooth transition to our local state secondary schools. These include regular meetings between Principals and Deputies, an annual Year 7 and Year 8 teacher conference, the completion of a student transition passport and the sharing of student data.
