Talara Boardriders, in conjunction with North Caloundra Surf School, runs across Term 1 and the start of Term 2, and then recommences mid Term 3 and 4.
The program is for years 4 to 6 students and runs for 8 weeks twice per year. 2 coaches are provided by the surf school. Rashies are provided by surf school. Learner surfboards are also available.
Practice sessions occur on Fridays from 6am – 7am. Children have the opportunity to surf in school surfing competitions held throughout the year.
Numbers are limited to 16 students due to safety requirements.
