The Talara Primary College Cross Country Competition that was scheduled to be
held on Monday, 29 March, has been rescheduled to Thursday 22 April from 9am - 11am on the college oval and its
surrounds.
Students are required to wear their house coloured
shirt, school shorts/skorts or black/navy bike pants and appropriate
footwear for running. Sporting House polo shirts are available at the
uniform shop for $20. Please ensure that sunscreen is applied prior to
the commencement of the school day and your child has a water bottle on hand for the day. Your assistance in their preparation would be greatly appreciated.
Please note that due to COVID restrictions, a spectators area has been
designated (refer to attached maps). Parents are asked to enter through
the main gates only and make their way to the spectators’ area via
Centre Court. It is very important for any spectators attending to
ensure “Covid Safe Practices” are followed by maintaining 1.5m social
distancing and only accessing the designated spectator area.
Additionally, any visitors who are not parents of a student must sign in
via scanning the QRCODE provided for you at the bridge to the oval.
Make sure to bring a chair when you come to watch and set yourself up
early in our spectators' area for the best view of the morning's events.
