Sunday 25 April 2021 marks the 106th anniversary of the landing of ANZAC troops at Gallipoli.

TPC ANZAC Parade

Our whole school ANZAC Parade will take place on Friday 23 April, 2021 to honour, remember and most importantly embrace the spirit of ANZAC.

Please note however, that due to COVID restrictions, this year's TPC ANZAC Parade will be open to special guests, parents, and community members by invitation only. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused our school community, but due to current COVID restrictions we are unable to open this parade to all.

As always, social distancing and hand sanitizing will be mandatory at our Parade. We have completed a COVID Safe Checklist for this Parade so any adult attending that is not a parent or staff member will be required to sign in using the QR Code on display at the hall entrance.

ANZAC Day Dawn Service, Citzens' March & Wreath Laying Ceremony

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service will be a COVID controlled event at the Kings Beach Amphitheatre this year, commencing at 5am. There will only be seating for our veterans and their immediate family.

The Citizens' March will step off at 9.00am (form up is at 8.30am) from the Stockland Shopping Centre carpark and it will conclude in the carpark of the Caloundra RSL. In the past we have had around 200 proud TPC students join us to show respect to our diggers past and present.  Students attending are asked to attend in full school uniform.  To ensure COVID compliance, TPC families are asked to register their attendance on arrival with one of the five TPC Principals in attendance.

The Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held after the Citizens' March (approx. 10am) in the Memorial Garden located in the grounds of the Caloundra RSL. Ms Walton and our two College Captains will be laying a wreath on behalf of the Talara community.

We look forward to our TPC community uniting on this special occasion.
