Sharing Afternoons are an opportunity for parents to come in and have your children proudly show off their key learning artefacts and celebrate their great work.
To help alleviate any concerns of overcrowding and maintaining good social distancing practices, this term we will facilitate our students’ celebration of their awesome learning with a Sharing Afternoon in the last week of term from 2pm to 2.45pm.
To spread the numbers of parents out across the school, Sharing Afternoon will take place across 3 afternoons. Please note that due to Year 4 having a culminating performance this term (Tuesday 23 March 2pm in Performance Centre), Year 4 classes will not be having a Sharing Afternoon.
- Classes ending in B and W – Monday 29 March
- Classes ending in A and M - Tuesday 30 March
- Classes ending in G and Y - Wednesday 31 March
Each class shares on their allocated parade day, with the exception of classes ending in B&W who usually have parade on Thursdays. They will share on MONDAY 29 March (Week 10).
With restrictions on how many adults can be in the classrooms at any given time, the majority of sharing will occur outside the classroom space, on grassed areas, under paths etc. Students will share work with their parents and do a small activity with them one to one that relates to their learning. It is not expected to be longer than 20-minutes in duration, so parents have time to visit multiple children if needed.
If a visitor other than the parent/carer attends, they will need to sign in using the QR code that will be displayed at the front gates and available at the office.
