Our BYOx (Bring Your Own Device) program has become an integral part of the learning experience for students in Years 5 and 6. This program offers students enhanced opportunities to engage in digital learning, promoting digital literacy, independence, and a personalised approach to technology use.
The BYOx program creates a collaborative and interactive digital learning environment in the classroom, allowing students to explore, create, and connect with curriculum content in meaningful ways. Through this program, we continue to equip our students with essential skills for the digital world, preparing them for future educational and real-world challenges.

Device Purchasing Support
To support our parents in purchasing devices, Talara Primary College has developed partnerships with a range of external vendors.
While we do not specifically endorse or require purchases through these vendors, these partnerships are in place to make the purchasing process easier for families. Using these vendors is entirely optional and at the family's discretion.
Our school does not receive incentives or financial contributions from these arrangements; all benefits are solely directed to assisting parents and students with suitable device options.
Each vendor offers devices that meet the minimum specifications required providing options that align with our technology requirements.
Please refer to the Device Minimum Specifications when choosing a device.
