To celebrate this year’s Book Week theme, ‘Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds’, come dressed as your favourite book character on Wednesday 25 August.
Your child may like to coordinate with friends and come up with a group costume, or go it alone – either way, it’s a great way to celebrate reading! Will they be battling alongside Jedi in a Galaxy far, far away, playing Quidditch at Hogwarts, solving crimes with Sherlock Holmes, training a dragon or conversing with elves in Middle Earth?
Please note that the regulation shoes and hats policy does apply, even on dress-up days. Helping Hands have kindly donated a QBD book voucher for each class for the most creative costume. The following links maybe useful for ideas.
On top of this we will celebrate with a week jam-packed with activities for our outside library.
