Last Friday, the Premier announced
that schools will be fully open to all students from Monday 25 May.
This is great news and we are looking forward to having full classrooms
alive with the ‘buzz’ of kids learning and mixing together.
We
are hoping that all students will be ready to return from next Monday.
With the influx of another 600 students, it will be really important for
every parent to remember to keep up social distancing whenever at,
or near, the school. I ask parents and carers to pay particular
attention to the requirement for adults to maintain physical distancing
of 1.5m at all times if you need to be on or around the school grounds.
Parents and carers are still restricted from coming on to the school
grounds however, except for the office. Please make sure that when your
child will be returning for the first time on 25 May, you have discussed
the drop and go at the gate, as well as which gate you will meet your
child at in the afternoon. Parents may wait just inside the gate areas
on the grass however, when waiting, we ask you to stand apart and not
gather in groups. Please make use of our stop, drop and go lane wherever
possible.
