It is with much excitement that we continue a wonderful tradition to commemorate ANZAC Day that supports our writing focus. All students are invited to compose a very special writing response to the writing stimulus for their year level. Images can be found on the flyer and have also been sent home with your child.
Entries are to be no more than two pages (200 words) in length and will be accepted in the following categories: Junior: Prep and Year 1; Middle: Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4; Senior: Year 5 and Year 6
Students will be judged on their ability to show the following:
• Understanding of the significance of ANZAC Day
• Personal voice or connection
• Creativity and originality
Winners will receive the exceptional honour of reading their writing at our ANZAC Service on the afternoon of April 24. All entries are to be placed in the ANZAC boxes, located in the office foyer by Monday, March 30. See the flyer below for details and don't forget to include your name and class on your writing. Winners will be notified in week 10 this Term. Good luck!
